Ourclient is seeking an experienced selfdriven and financially savvyindividual to ensure the smooth efficient and profitable operationof all aspects of our business.
This role is responsible foroverseeing the company s financial health as well as managingaccounting and administrative functions.
The ideal candidate willensure proper accounting practices are followed budgets andforecasts are in place and costs are effectively tracked andmanaged forprofitability.
Thisindividual will also manage the daytoday office operations andadministration leading a team of employees across multipledepartments.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Analyzefinancial data and provide sound business recommendations tosupport the companys growthobjectives.
- Staycurrent with accounting standards and taxregulations.
- Providestrong financial leadership and accountability for theteam.
- Overseedaily business operations improving processes andprocedures.
- Handleall daily accounting functions essential for running thebusiness.
- Ownand manage pricing and costingstrategies.
- Evaluateproductivity and performance implementing strategies for continuousimprovement andgrowth.
- Supportaudits and financialreporting.
- Overseeall staffingrelated functions including HRresponsibilities.
- Maintainand update the ERPsystem.
- Manageoffice administration tasks andstaff.
Requirements
Requirements :
- Minimum5 years of experience managing employees in a seniorrole.
- 10years of experience in a senior accounting and financeposition.
- CPAdesignation required; CMA is anasset.
- Indepthknowledge of statutory legislation andregulations.
- Experiencein the food industry is anasset.
- Strongproblemsolving and criticalthinkingabilities.
- Strategicbusiness planningskills.
- Abilityto thrive in a fastpacedenvironment.
