Graphic Designer
Job Type : Full-time, contractor, remote
Hours : CST full-time shift (Thursday to Monday)
Our design team is dedicated to crafting and preserving the unique visual identities of nine brands. We are committed to constant innovation and ensuring our designs reflect the latest trends in the news, entertainment, and media industries.
We collaborate closely with other internal teams to execute unique creative that aligns with their initiatives. By actively engaging with their needs, we ensure the creation of compelling assets that resonate with their target audiences.
Our proactive approach enables us to deliver impactful materials that support their objectives and captivate and engage their audiences on a deeper level.
Responsibilities
- Task Ownership : Take full responsibility for design tasks assigned in Asana, ensuring they are managed and completed independently.
- On-Time Delivery : Oversee the timely delivery of design assets, ensuring each project meets performance standards.
- Work Schedule : Work a Thursday-to-Monday schedule.
Expected Outcomes
- Focused on Results : Aim for at least 75% of design tasks to achieve over 600 comments and 1,000 likes on relevant platforms.
- Activity Focused : Develop a minimum of 6 unique design templates each quarter. Complete at least 100 design assets each quarter across our network and platforms.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience : 2-4+ years of professional design experience or a demonstrated portfolio of personal projects.
- Technical Skills : Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and skilled in digital design.
- Creativity & Detail : Ability to generate new creative content ideas, take direction and critique, and have a keen eye for detail.
- Execution : Strong conceptual thinking, understanding of typography and design, and ability to work with existing Photoshop files to produce new outputs.
- Collaboration : Able to work well independently and within a team, meeting tight deadlines.
Nice to have
- Additional Tools : Familiarity with Figma and Notion.
- Industry Experience : Experience working in content-creating entertainment is a plus.
