A typical day :
- End-to-end payroll process (Canada and US), calculation and distribution of wages, bonuses and benefits
- Manage data entry of new hires, employee updates and terminations
- Maintain banking information, recurring payments, and payroll deductions
- Process and verify benefits coverage
- Oversee RRSP and other employee benefit plans
- Support with month-end and year-end reconciliations and prepare necessary reports including US W-2s and Canadian T-4s
- Review monthly billing invoices for benefits
- Process payroll taxation
Successful candidates will have :
- Current certification as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner
- Minimum of two years related experience and at minimum, one year of US payroll experience
- Solid understanding of US and Canadian payroll processes and regulations
- Ability to handle payroll for more than 150 employees
- Experience with multi-state taxes and provincial taxes
Total rewards :
