We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Manager, Marketing & Promotions, the Marketing Coordinator will have a foundational education in marketing and a strong desire to apply those skills across a variety of projects.

What you will do : Marketing & Creative
Marketing & Creative
- Support Manager, Marketing & Promotions with presentations, pre-retirement seminars, webinars, conventions and trade shows.
- Book advertising for ARTA based on the annual marketing tactical plan.
- Based on creative themes of ARTA’s communications tools, identify and solicit potential advertisers.
- Manage ARTA member contests, including the Photo Contest, Writing Contest, and Wellness Challenge.
- Solicit and manage advertising sales for ARTA’s communication vehicles.
- Support the marketing efforts of the Alberta Retired Teachers Charitable Foundation.
- Support the execution of organizational marketing events, including Teachers’ Conventions, the ARTA Annual General Meeting, the Members’ Retreat, and the ARTCF Charity Golf Classic.
- Attend local branch events on behalf of ARTA.
- Perform other reasonable duties as required.
Administrative
- Respond to basic [email protected] emails (subscription changes, password requests, information validation).
- Respond to basic [email protected] emails (about new membership and the ARTA Benefit Plan); flag complex requests for the Manager, Marketing & Promotions, Director of Marketing, or Chief Operating Officer as required.
- Manage, update, maintain, and distribute ARTA Benefit Plan marketing materials.
- Manage the ARTA Volunteer Award program.
Reporting
Marketing inventory management, including :
- Tracking & fulfilling SWAG requests
- Tracking & fulfilling ARTA marketing package requests
- Quarterly inventory reporting
- ARTA Apparel Store maintenance, order fulfillment and reporting
What you will have :
- A degree in Marketing or related education.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
- Experience delivering presentations is an asset.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Desire to work in a fun, diverse work environment.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
