Office Clerk
- 6-month contract with potential for extension
- Pay Rate : $20-$23 / hour

Raise is hiring for several major banking clients in downtown Toronto right now. They have ongoing needs for early-career Office Clerks with 1-4 years of experience, and strong skills in communication, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls, providing answers and escalations for questions / complaints as necessary
- Provide information to internal employees, providing references / sources for documents or other reference information
- Maintain an accurate record of files in both Word and Excel, including records of office activities / business transactions
- Regularly update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems
- General clerical duties such as bookkeeping, office machine operation (photocopiers etc.), sending and receiving mail, inventory, etc.
- Accounting, payroll, working with data / spreadsheets, data validation
- Compute, record and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports
Qualifications
- 1-4 years of experience in Office Administration or similar
- Experience with data entry
- Experience working on the phone
- Advanced user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- High attention to detail and ability to find mistakes / errors in detailed data sets / documents
- Strong verbal and written communication, multi-tasking, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to keep information confidential
Nice to haves
- Experience in the financial industry and business function knowledge
- Account transfers experience
- French language
