About the team you are joining
Reportingto the Head, Training and Licensing, OSS-Flight and Technical Operations, theincumbent is responsible for the promotion and theimplementation of competency-based training programs in compliance with the ICAOprovisions and IATA best practices, within the industry and the Civil AviationAuthorities (CAAs).
This isa fixed term contract with a strong possibility to be extended or to becomeoperational.
What your day would be like
- Assist the Head of Training and Licensing in the advocacy and promotion of CBTA towards the States and the industry
- Lead the design and the delivery of CBTA standardization programs for the following categories of aviation personnel :
- Pilot course developers
- AMTEM course developers
- ATCOs course developers
- CAAs staff in charge of CBTA oversight
- Ensure coordination of the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) supporting the design of the above-mentioned standardizations
- Manage forecasts and budgeting targets related to the development of the above-mentioned standardizations
- Ensure project planning and implementation support of CBTA programs across the IATA network
- Participate in the CBTA programs evaluations where applicable
- Act as advisor to the panel member of the ICAO Personnel Training and Licensing Panel, on CBTA related issues
- Represent IATA at conferences, industry meetings and subject matter expert groups on CBTA related issues
We would love to hear from you if
you possess the following :
- University degree in adult education and training design
- Seven (7) years of relevant experience, including training design (specialist level)
- Previous CBTA expertise is required
- Training delivery experience in one of the categories of aviation personnel listed above is required
- High degree of familiarity with ICAO provisions related to training design (ICAO 9868, PANS-TRG)
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, able to speak in public to large audiences of professionals in the aviation industry
