EXECUTIONAL EXCELLENCE
Under the direction of the Procurement and Logistics Specialist,you will :
- Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using handling equipment.
- Examine received goods for damage and compare records - such as manifests, invoices, or purchase orders - to verify the accuracy of shipment.
- Action internal requisition orders and requests; picking, sorting, delivering of goods and maintaining records of such.
- Ensure received goods are delivered efficiently across property.
- Complete departmental paperwork including delivery and receiving logs, inventory records etc.
- Assist with packing items and preparing shipments using online accounts and freight services.
- Report any low or depleted inventory levels within the department in a timely manner to enable reordering.
- Correspond with Leaders across property to rectify issues encountered and / or highlight opportunities for improvement to processes.
- Manage requests for cross-property transfers alongside shipment deliveries to maximize efficiency and adhere to time constraints.
- Communicate using excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
- Ensure the shipping and receiving area is always maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform local pickup and delivery tasks as necessary.
