Principales Responsabilités

Élaborer et exécuter une stratégie commerciale pour les ventes de GSI, y compris les solutions AC, FACTS et HVDC et en tirant parti du portefeuille de solutions de réseau GE (GSI, disjoncteurs, informatique haute tension, systèmes de détection ;

automatisation du réseau, services, équipement électrique, etc.).

  • Diriger, développer et exécuter l'équipe de support commercial et technique pour développer et exécuter des stratégies de croissance de compte et la planification de compte.
  • Responsable de la prévision précise des commandes, des commandes convertibles, des marges et des ventes pour les clients régionaux / segment assignés.
  • Développer et entretenir des relations stratégiques avec les principaux décideurs pour soutenir les stratégies de compte des équipes de vente.
  • Piloter l'identification, la prospection et la création de nouvelles opportunités de vente.
  • Piloter les initiatives de croissance et les lancements de nouveaux produits au sein des comptes assignés.
  • Fournir des commentaires sur les tendances du marché, les prix et la concurrence au marketing de la gamme de produits
  • Aider l'équipe de vente à développer la base installée et à développer de nouveaux contacts clients, à documenter la base installée et les lacunes.
  • Gérer le budget des frais de déplacement et de subsistance.
  • Développer des opportunités de synergie avec d'autres entreprises GE.
  • Effectuer des examens du plan d'exploitation et des comptes avec la direction régionale.

Qualifications requises

  • Baccalauréat en ingénierie ou baccalauréat en Business Administration
  • Minimum 10 ans d'expérience en vente directe, en gestion de compte ou en gestion d'équipe
  • Minimum 5 ans d'expérience dans la vente dans le secteur de l'électricité / des services publics ou dans un rôle d'équipe commerciale de produits
  • Bilingue : anglais, français
  • Capable de voyager pour environ 40 % du temps

Summary

The GSI Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for leading all Grid Solutions sales activities related to AC Solutions, FACTS, and HVDC.

In this role, you will manage the overall account relationships / strategy and deliver upon growth and other business objectives for all Developers, Consultants that engage in the designated Region / Segment.

Account leadership role responsible for leading the Grid Systems Integration account strategy in all aspects of growth and profitability including customer growth and spending analysis, integrated account planning, opportunity identification, cash & receivables, and value communication.

Essential Responsibilities

Develop and execute commercial strategy for sales of GSI including AC Solutions, FACTS, & HVDC and pulling through the GE Grid Solutions Portfolio (GIS, Circuit Breakers, High Voltage IT, Sensing Systems;

Grid Automation, Services, Power Equipment, etc.).

  • Lead, develop, and execute the commercial and technical support team to develop and execute account growth strategies and Account Planning.
  • Own the accurate forecasting of orders, convertible orders, margins, and sales for assign Regional / Segment customer(s).
  • Develop and own strategic customer relationships with key decision makers in support of sales teams account strategies.
  • Drive identification, prospecting, and creation of new sales opportunities.
  • Drive Growth Initiatives and new product introductions within assigned account(s).
  • Provide feedback regarding market trends, pricing, and competition to product line marketing.
  • Help sales team grow installed base and develop new customer contacts, document installed base and gaps.
  • Manage travel and living expense budget.
  • Develop synergy opportunities with other GE businesses.
  • Conduct Operating Plan and Account reviews with region leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • BS Engineering or BA degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of direct sales, account or team leadership experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical / utility industry sales or product business team role

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :

  • Bilingual : English, French
  • Willing / able to travel to travel approximately 40%.

Desired Characteristics

Professional and technical competency with Automation and Power Equipment products / services (Transmission / Distribution or Power Generation);

and Professional and technical competency with substation design and operations

  • Proven situational fluency with executive levels of customer management.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication, and presentation skills with all levels of management, executive, engineering, and operations.
  • Familiarity with economic and executive-incentive drivers for executive-level procurement decisions in the energy market.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationship / team building
