Our client a world leader in the design of air extraction systems located on the North Shore. The client is one of the world's leading manufacturers of complete vacuum solutions, including vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, blowers and exhaust gas abatement systems.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Project Manager will be responsible for industrial projects. If you're committed to a job well done, if you're meticulous, a team player and self-reliant, this could be the job for you.
Be responsible for designing and monitoring the construction of the vacuum or overpressure system assigned to you,
Supervise and monitor system assembly drawings
Take into account local conditions, compliance, safety, performance and ease of use of the systems.
Ensure that material orders are placed.
Ensure that parts are delivered in time to deliver the system within the agreed timescale.
Respect the schedule set at the start of the project
Be responsible for controlling costs in line with established budgets
Understand and comply with the customer's specifications and requirements
Comply with the quality and standards expected by the company
Acting as a resource person and key player in resolving any problems that may arise.
Plan and coordinate work with subcontractors and suppliers as required.
Determine, in conjunction with the sales department, the critical points of the project.

Our Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical or electrical).
Member of the OIQ and valid engineering title in Quebec
3 to 9 years' relevant experience in project management.
Bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written (oral / written proficiency).
Good communication and listening skills.
Attention to detail, autonomy, analytical mind, team spirit, sense of responsibility.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Solidworks and SAP (an asset).
