POSITION DESCRIPTION MANAGER, SUPPLY CHAIN ENABLEMENT
POSITION OVERVIEW
Reports to : Director, Global Supply Chain & Procurement
Location : While our HQ in Vancouver is preferred, we are open to diverse applicants from across Canada who will be a great addition to our culture here at Eldorado on a remote basis.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager, Supply Chain Enablement will provide management, analysis, estimation, and solution design to support Supply Chain process and systems across the company.
This position is responsible for working closely with functions and sites to support their short- and long-term initiatives;
lead and manage continuous improvement of global / site process and system capabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Manager, Supply Chain Enablement will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following :
Process documentation, standardization, and improvement :
- Build and maintain a shared repository of Supply Chain knowledge, including procedures, templates, guidelines, and other relevant documentation to be accessible by the Supply Chain community.
- Support standardization initiatives across the company identifying and implementing best practices that are applicable to multiple locations.
- Lead Supply Chain process or system design conversations with a diverse team and deliver these designs as solutions.
Performance Management and Business Intelligence :
- Enable relevant Supply Chain data automatic collection on a regular basis to support decision making.
- Support sites in measuring and reporting key performance indicators through the enablement of system solutions.
- Drive identification of opportunities for improvement based on performance and benchmarking across the company and outside.
Support, in partnership with IT, the implementation or enhancement of Supply Chain systems such as :
- Inventory Management
- Electronic Purchasing
- Contract Management
- Contractor Management
- Market Intelligence
- Third Party Risk Management
Master Data Management :
Implement MDM standards to support data integration and to identify synergies across the company.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Business, Engineering, or IT field with certification(s) in SAP Supply Chain modules.
- Proven experience in supply chain management within the mining or related industry, with a strong understanding of complexities of sourcing, procurement and logistic in this section would be an asset.
- Strong analytical skills and data management.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate deep subject matter expertise in the respective business discipline and related business processes supported.
- Understanding of global ERP Support models and deployment methodologies.
- Strong inter-personal relationship skills and problem-solving skills are required.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience leading, guiding, and mentoring junior level functional analysts, administrators and / or support personnel.
