We’re looking for our next Data Analyst . Could it Be You?
The primary role of the Data Analyst is to serve as the backbone of our data-driven decision-making process, enabling the organization to leverage data effectively for strategic planning and operational improvements.

The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and transforming data into clear and concise reports and visualizations.
They will also be responsible for improving operational efficiencies through automation.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Participating in and contributing to all Agile Scrum ceremonies
- Gathering and documenting requirements from stakeholders
- Collecting and analyzing complex data sets using advanced analytical techniques and tools such as Power BI
- Generating clear and concise reports to stakeholder specifications
- Creating dashboards and visualizations in order to allow management to make business decisions or allow stakeholders to complete day to day operations
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements to improve accuracy and implement process automation
- Assisting in finding solutions to existing day to day reporting and processes by automating manual processes or enhancing data validation
- Staying current with industry trends and best practices in coding, data analysis, automation, and visualization
- Collaborating with other Questrade departments on special projects
- Performing other duties as assigned
So are YOU our next Data Analyst? You are if you
- Hold a Degree or Diploma in business or finance or have equivalent experience
- Have 2+ years of Data analytics or computer programming experience
- Have experience with G-Suite, especially Google Sheets
- Are proficient in the programming languages SQL, Apps Script and Python
- Have experience with data visualization and building interactive dashboards in
Power BI
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Can work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Additional kudos if you have
- Brokerage experience, preferably in Customer service, Operations, or IT related discipline
- Working knowledge of the financial industry
- Experience using Broadridge BPS
