This role supports the Shop Foreman / Supervisor, the role involves maintaining and repairing equipment in the company’s maintenance and repair shop.
Primary Scope of Role :
- Make field service calls to repair.
- Work on call rotation shifts for winter operations support .
- Troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain passenger vehicles, heavy trucks & trailers on site and within the shop.
Position Requirements :
- Experience in construction, paving & aggregates equipment is needed.
- 421A Certification
- Must have own tools
- Automotive experience preferred but not required
- Mobile field service experience is needed.
- Willing to work on equipment, trucks and small engines as required.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
- Understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems and components.
- Safety certification inspections
- Comfortable using a computer, the internet, and other electronic resources.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skill
- Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities
- Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges
