Job Description
Reporting to the Manager Marketing Planning & Projects, this position plays a critical part in supporting Farm Boy’s marketing strategies through data-driven analysis.
This position will collect, analyze, and interpret data from various marketing channels, helping team members and stakeholders understand customer behaviours, campaign performance, and market trends.
The performance of these duties must ensure a quality service approach for all employees, customers, and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way.
Major Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reports to track KPIs, providing actionable insights to the Marketing team.
- Work closely with Marketing, Finance, and Procurement teams to optimize campaigns and improve customer acquisition and retention.
- Prepare weekly and periodic progress reports for stakeholders and senior leadership by collecting, analyzing and summarizing operational information and trends.
- Conduct ROI analysis to inform strategic marketing decisions.
- Using complex data sets, identify market trends or customer behaviour patterns, and opportunities for growth.
- Filter and organize data by reviewing various data reports, printouts, and performance indicators.
- Assist in developing data-driven recommendations for marketing strategies, content optimization, and customer journey enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy across all platforms.
- Own and deliver ad-hoc data requests and analytics, effectively managing timelines and prioritizing work.
- Stay up to date on marketing analytics tools, trends, and best practices to continuously improve data processes.
- May be required to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.
Qualifications
- Typically requires completion of post secondary education with an emphasis in Marketing, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field, plus a minimum of 2 years of Data / Business Data Analyst experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- In-depth technical experience with data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (, Google Analytics, Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and marketing platforms (, Sprout Social, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
- Strong communication skills both written and oral, with the ability to present data insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in report writing and presenting results with a superior standard of quality.
- Knowledge of retail industry and food products considered an asset.
Work & Sensory Environment :
- Providing service to several people or departments, working under many simultaneous deadlines.
- Performing extensive and repetitive data entry.
- Sitting for long periods of time at a workstation.
- Possible exposure to eye strain from computer terminals.
