York University's School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design (AMPD) is one of North America's premier institutions for education and research across the arts.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and directly supporting the Graduate Program Director (GPD), Music, the Graduate Program Assistant (GPA) provides administrative support to faculty and students.
The GPA provides information on University, Faculty, unit and program policies, procedures, and regulations in a professional, client-focused manner.
The GPA provides continuity, historical perspective, and transitional support to the GPD during their term appointments.
The GPA contributes to a positive, supportive, student-focused team environment of high performance, respect, trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement, embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.
Education :
High school graduation plus administrative training. some post-secondary courses in Arts, Media, Performance or Design would be an asset.
