This role prepares and consolidates financial statements, analyzes and reconciles accounts, analyzes cash flow, creates budgets and forecasts, prepares audits, and manages internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting to attain company goals.

Major responsibilities

  • Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
  • Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
  • Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
  • Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives
  • Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
  • Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
  • Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls;

while also providing support on special requests when required

Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

Job Requirements :

  • Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
  • Current and relevant ERP system experience
  • Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus
  • High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
  • Deep understanding of international financial reporting standards
  • Proven knowledge of External Financial Reports
  • Build Strong Relationships experience required
  • Experience with International Accounting Standards (IAS)
  • Improve Efficiency experience desired
  • Compliance experience preferred
  • Able to manage time well
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • 3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
  • BA / BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
  • Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
  • SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
