Our client is seeking a Building Operator to join their Operations team at a premier AAA office building. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all building systems and meeting the company's standards of management and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities : Ensure the proper operation of all building systems and equipmentMonitor tenant construction and capital projects to ensure compliance with building codes and regulationsLiaise with consultants and supervise outside contractors to ensure compliance with building rules and regulationsPerform maintenance and repairs as required, including filter replacement, lamp replacement, and plumbing repair workConduct regular interior, exterior, and roof inspections and perform or arrange repairsPerform daily walk-throughs, check equipment, and conduct water treatment testsAssist in obtaining quotes for work to be performed and prepare operational reportsMonitor fire alarm systems, perform monthly fire, life, and safety testing, and respond to tenant requestsIdeal Candidate : 5+ years of direct experience in Building Operations, with a focus on Class A and above office buildingsExperience with heat exchange units and cooling systemsCompletion of BES I & IISolid working knowledge of the OHSA and completion of WHMIS, Lock-Out / Tag-Out, Working at Heights, and First Aid with CPRExcellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of employees, tenants, and the publicFlexibility to work rotating shifts and ability to work with minimum supervisionWhat Our Client Offers : A dynamic and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and developmentOpportunities to lead and contribute to the company's successSupport for professional development and personal goalsA culture that values integrity, loyalty, ingenuity, entrepreneurial spirit, and collaboration #totem1
