Are you a 442A Industrial Electrician with incredible troubleshooting abilities?
This opportunity will involve you working on a small team with a high level of communication to ensure that the jobs get done in a time effective manner.
You'll be working with a manager who is open and direct with communication and wants the best for the company and for his team members.
Location : Brantford
Shift : Days Monday to Friday
Overtime available
Ticketed Electrical license
Payrate : $42+ / hr

Responsibilities
- Complete projects with minimal guidance showing proactive attitude to design and installations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical devices in operation; dismantle / examine devices to gain access to and remove defective parts;
adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments; repair or replace defective parts.
- Set-up and operate shop machinery such as lathe, power tools, drill press, grinders, band saws, cutting torch, welder.
- Use hand tools and pneumatic tools to modify / repair parts.
- Install new or repair / modify hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Improve reliability and uptime of equipment and proactively approach equipment issues with a preventive maintenance mentality.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance
- 442A Industrial Electrician
- Knowledge of mechanical systems including gear boxes, motors, air compressors, pumps, AC, DC, drive troubleshooting, complex machine controls and instrumentation, complex welding / brazing, hydraulics, plumbing, pneumatics, carpentry
- You have strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- PC computer skills, and SAP experience is required
