Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Engineer, this position is responsible for performing site maintenance while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintains life safety systems such as fire alarms, emergency power, sprinklers, etc.
- Performs active or preventative maintenance as directed
- Fabricates repair parts
- Maintains parts and equipment inventories; anticipates requirements; submits purchase order requests
- Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
- Ensures compliance with licensing law s, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 4 years of experience in maintenance including mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and DDC
- Power Engineering Certificate an asset
- Food Safety Certification
- Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
