Job Description
Responsible for preparing, portioning and serving meals to clients in accordance with government sanitation regulations and organization policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Certificate in Chef Training, Culinary Management or equivalent experience in institutional, healthcare, restaurant or hospitality environment
- Current Food Handler Safety Certificate
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of quantity food production, and knowledge of sanitation and safety standards for food services area
- Knowledge of Asian cuisine and cooking style use of wok) an asset
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as be a positive, contributor to the team
- Ability to work shifts (days, evenings and weekends)
- Ability to converse in Chinese an asset.
