The project manager contributes to the effective management of various planning and execution stages of a project by ensuring rigorous task tracking, coordinating and communicating between different teams, and assisting in problem-solving. In this role you will :
- Participate in all planning discussions while ensuring clear communication and understanding of game design and process / deliverable development;
- Manage JIRA and Confluence tasks;
- Promote clear communication channels between areas of expertise;
- Lead the team in daily activities such as removing encountered obstacles and resolving general issues;
- Guide the team in achieving high-level product delivery milestones within scheduled timeframes while tracking stakeholder expectations for each deliverable;
- Work closely with the team to ensure they focus on the right priorities throughout production;
- Collaborate with external vendors;
- Assist in preparing documents, plans, and progress reports.
What we're looking for :
- 3 to 5 years of experience in video game design and having delivered or contributed to at least 2 games on a major console or PC;
- Good understanding of all aspects of game development ;
- Experience using Agile development tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.);
- Ability to plan and track multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
- Know how to identify and escalate potential risks if necessary;
- Good team management skills and coordination of different groups / sectors and activities;
- Experience working with external vendors is an asset;
- Good communication skills in English and French (spoken and written).
