What will your typical day look like?
The UA role provides ongoing support and service to internal and external customers. You will support the Underwriting team’s activities in a way that enhances the organization’s profitable growth.
This will happen by getting the right work on the right desk to enhance productivity. You will collaborate with underwriters and brokers to improve the overall service delivery and connectivity between Berkley and the marketplace.
You will manage the flow of data between stakeholders and ensure that we are pursuing continual improvement in all that we do.
You will provide actionable insight to your stakeholders based on ongoing organizational learning that will be at the forefront of your work.
You will partner with Berkley team members from across the organization and will develop a broad understanding of how the company operates as a result.
Responsibilities :
You will play a central role in administering our Program and Bordereaux Business in a team environment. Responsibilities include but not limited to :
Property &Casualty Program and Group A&H Bordereaux managementWithin Microsoft Excel : data validation, data administration and quality ControlCommunication (email, phone, internal messaging) with internal stakeholders (Underwriters, IT, Finance) and external stakeholders (brokers) as required to reconcile data.
Updating daily journal MasterList within Microsoft Excel
- Policy generation and issuance in timely manner for different business units
- Follow up communication (email and / or phone) with brokers for outstanding items
- Mailbox (Microsoft Outlook) administration
- Performs other duties as assigned
