Casual Office Administrator

Under the direction of the Principal, the Office Administrator :

  • provides secretarial and administrative services for the Principal and staff;
  • acts as a receptionist;
  • maintains office records;
  • orders school supplies;
  • provides basic medical attention;

and performs other duties, as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills :

  • Secondary School Diploma;
  • one year of Community College in a related field;
  • three years of related experience;
  • proficiency in word processing;
  • excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
  • tact, diplomacy and discretion;

ability to work independently.

Casual Office Administrators / Administrative Assistants must be available to work on call during regular school hours at various school locations.

These are casual positions with an hourly wage range starting at $27.75 plus 4% in lieu of vacation pay.
