ABOUT THE ROLE :
As the Founding Marketing Manager , you'll be on the frontlines of sharing disruptive govtech solutions with the world. This includes telling the story of how cutting-edge tech is catapulting the most innovative businesses to receive government funding.
You’ll transform the business landscape and drive job growth, while experimenting and having a lot of fun doing it!
You’ll shape and execute our marketing strategy, with a focus on digital presence, viral content creation, and innovative go-to-market strategies.
You’ll also help manage and outsource marketing efforts including press releases, publication articles, Google ads, LinkedIn ads, and marketing campaigns.
We’re seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated individual. You’ll be an early member of an early-stage, well-funded startup that is growing extremely quickly.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for technology and the government sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Coordinate company and industry events.
- Manage paid ads campaigns
- Increase organic growth and affiliates
- Manage and grow social media presence across platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
- Create engaging content for our blog, social media, and other digital channels
- Design and implement marketing experiments to optimize our reach and engagement
- Develop and execute innovative go-to-market strategies
- Oversee support staff to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
- Collaborate with the product team to effectively communicate our value proposition
- Analyze marketing metrics and provide regular performance reports
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Previous marketing experience of at least 2 years minimum, more is welcome
- Strong social media management and content creation capabilities
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles
- Creativity and willingness to experiment with new marketing approaches
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Interest in government contracting and / or B2B SaaS is a plus
- Critical thinking and self-project management abilities are a must
- Excitement about the fast-paced and hardworking nature of a startup
