Job Title : Machine Operator
Job Description
Candidates will be working on the end of a mill. They will be packing boxes, deburring tubes, moving tubes across the facility, and assisting the mill operator.
They will also be responsible for quality control using measuring tools. As they get comfortable with the machine (2-4 months), they will begin training to become an operator.
The work is physically demanding and requires lifting up to 50lbs.
Responsibilities
- Work on the end of a mill, packing boxes and deburring tubes.
- Move tubes across the facility and assist the mill operator.
- Conduct quality control using measuring tools.
- Train to become a machine operator after 2-4 months of initial work.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally as a machine operator.
- Experience in performing quality checks with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Consistent work history with each job held for a minimum of one year.
- Experience in deburring, assembly, machine setup, and troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working on a mill.
- Experience using measuring tools like verniers, calipers, and micrometers.
- Experience in the automotive or metal industry.
