- Competitive salary $22 - $28 based on experience
- Straight afternoon shift, 4 x 10 shift schedule
- Straight day shift available
- Monday to Thursday, 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm OR straight afternoons 2 : 30pm 1am

Responsibilities
- Setup CNC turning centers, verify programs, load tooling and inspect first-off
- Programming
- Read and interpret G-code and make changes to improve efficiency
- Change inserts and adjust machine and tool offsets to achieve dimensional requirements
- Complete in-process and final checks using gauges and measuring equipment
- Strong problem solving skills
- Work independently without supervision
- Flexible working on multiple machines in a high pace environment
- Very strong attention to detail and quality control
Qualifications
Qualifications in this CNC lathe machinist role are :
- CNC lathe experience - 3+ years preferred in a custom job shop
- Oil & Gas industry experience an asset
- Ability to read drawings and blueprints
- Ability to use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
- You take ownership for your work, have critical thinking and has the ability to collaborate with the other team members
- You are adaptable and have a mindset of continuous improvement
- You have experience in a custom shop working with various materials
