As an Intermediate to Senior Delta V Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and commissioning of Emerson Delta V Distributed Control Systems (DCS) for various industrial automation projects.
This role requires a deep understanding of Delta V system architecture, configuration, and batch processing, as well as leadership capabilities to mentor junior engineers and collaborate with project stakeholders

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and configuration of Delta V DCS, including graphics, alarms, historian, and communication protocols such as Modbus and OPC.
- Provide leadership in system architecture design, including integration with third-party systems and ensuring scalability for future requirements.
- Oversee the commissioning of Delta V systems, from Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) through to Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and system handover.
- Collaborate with project teams, including clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing Delta V control systems, performing loop tuning, fault diagnosis, and upgrades as needed.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, providing guidance and technical training in Delta V system design and implementation.
- Advanced Process Control
- Engage with clients to understand their needs, deliver technical presentations, and provide expert advice on Delta V system enhancements and upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with Delta V DCS, including system design, configuration, and commissioning.
- Demonstrated expertise in Delta V Batch and S88 batch process control standards.
- Strong understanding of process control systems, including P&ID interpretation, control loop tuning, and alarm management.
- Experience leading automation projects in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, chemicals, or related industries.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients, write detailed reports, and present technical solutions clearly.
- Experience with PLC programming and integration with Delta V systems is an asset.
- Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity best practices is an advantage.
