Position Overview :
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Junior ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the design, development, and improvement of ServiceNow solutions.
The Junior ServiceNow Developer will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a collaborative environment while gaining hands-on experience in configuring, customizing, and scripting within the ServiceNow platform.
What you get to do :
- Participate in requirements gathering phase to provide time estimation to customers and collaborators.
- Participation in design reviews and SCRUM meetings.
- Build and update the existing configuration documentation.
- Develop a solution in a test environment and work with QA team to ensure quality.
- Act as an ambassador for outstanding practices in coding and design as per ServiceNow standards and community practices.
- Scripting in various areas (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI, Actions, Access Control Lists, UI Policies, Portal Pages, UI Pages).
- Reporting and Dashboards setup.
- Ability to configure flows and workflows.
- Experience in Service Catalogue development.
- Writing code using JavaScript, HTML, Angular, CSS and AJAX.
- Develop solutions with third party tools or ServiceNow to ServiceNow integration with Scripted and OOB REST API and SOAP Web Services.
- Technical solution validation before deployment.
- Support Go-live and hyper care phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer
- Knowledge of JavaScript programming and basic scripting concepts.
- Basic understanding of web development technologies, including HTML and CSS.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and exposure to core ServiceNow modules.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach toward learning and growth.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience or coursework related to ServiceNow development is preferred
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including SCRUM and Kanban or other iterative approaches to project delivery.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- Knowledge of ServiceNow instance design and administration.
- Experience in ServiceNow administration and development.
