Come work as a Family Physician Emergency with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!
Bella Bella is a beautiful island community off the central coast of BC, 690km north of Vancouver, surrounded by a magical world of channels, inlets and old growth forest.
The hospital, overlooking the ocean, is in the center of this rural and remote community and is a focal point for community life in many ways.
Working here will give you a real sense of the richness of aboriginal culture in its home environment.
As A Family Physician Emergency with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will :
Provide regular clinic, emergency and inpatient care under one roof to a primarily First Nations, Heiltsuk Nation community of approximately 1500 people.
Qualifications
Education, Licensing, & Experience :
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Advanced Trauma life Support (ATLS)
- Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License Full
- Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP)
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
- Emergency Experience
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- If any of the certifications have expired, CARE certification can replace the expired certification.
