Reporting to the IT Director, the Administrator, IT Contracts and Finance is responsible for managing all data relating to IT assets, managing investments dedicated to IT assets and other departments in relation to the acquisition of assets, negotiating contracts (purchase or rental) and maintenance contracts.

You are responsible for IT procurement and participate in developing the IT budget. You ensure monthly monitoring to meet approved budget objectives and you charge back operating expenses (purchases, uses, etc.

to the different groups monthly.

As an Administrator, IT Contracts and Finance, your day-to-day responsibilities include :

• Validate and proceed with various IT purchases (software and hardware).
• Complete purchase requests and follow up on equipment deliveries for the company;
• Participate in developing the IT budget, manage expenses and ensure monthly follow-up;
• Negotiate renewals of subscriptions, maintenance and rentals related to IT for the company;
• Participate in the process of acquiring new products and services;
• Maintain the list of contracts, the renewal schedule, the IT software and hardware inventory of the company;
• Develop and maintain processes for accounting functions, generate reports required by managers of the various departments and / or for IT;
• Allocate capital expenditures as well as operating and maintenance expenditures according to usage to different groups within the company;
• Participate in IT project planning and follow up on deadlines and expenses incurred and authorized.

To join our team, you must hold :

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, administration, or a related field with several years of experience in a similar position;
• Three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience as a contract manager, including aspects of strategy development and execution;
• Five (5) years of experience in management accounting, auditing, cost accounting and reverse invoicing;
• Excellent budgeting, inventory and cost management skills;
• Good technical experience on contract regulations and laws;
• General knowledge of accounting, finance, inventory and logistics;
• Good technical knowledge of IT products and services;
• Good knowledge in developing and monitoring a budget;
• Ability to communicate effectively with people from different disciplines with different levels of technical experience;
• Very good skills in negotiating with suppliers;
• Ability to adapt easily and prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment;
• Ability to produce reports on budget costs and material inventories using or developing tools;
• Good oral and written communication skills, English, French;
• Proficiency in the Office suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
• Proficiency in contract management software and information management systems (ERP) is an asset.
