Production supervisor

Randstad Canada is looking for a bilingual Production supervisor for a warehouse located in Royal Mount. This person will be present on the floor with the employees.

He / she will supervise, manage production and support employees. Versatility is therefore a highly considerable quality.

Schedule : Monday to Friday 7 : 45 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Salary : $18.50 to $20.50 / hour

Contract until February with possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

The Production supervisor will, among other things :

• Plan the team's work schedule
• Ensure employees are present and punctual
• Ensure employees understand their tasks
• Enforce production deadlines
• Ensure that employees perform according to defined standards
• Identify and communicate ways to improve productivity and efficiency

Qualifications

Skills expected of an excellent Production supervisor :

• Warehouse or industrial experience
• Experience in personnel management
• English-French BILINGUAL MANDATORY
• Ability to spend shift standing or walking
• Ability to manage a work team
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull
• Detail-oriented
• Manage priorities
• Able to handle pressure
