What will your typical day look like?

You will work as part of OperateNext (also known as Managed Services) team and focus on support and enhancement services specifically on Sales Force Technology working with a diverse set of clients.

You will provide innovative ideas to help accelerate client delivery while broadening your own skillsets by engaging with your peers.

You will have the opportunity to get involved with and contribute to initiatives within and across our OperateNext offering and community in Canada.

As a Senior Cloud Engineer , you will be part of a team that delivers managed services projects on SAP, technology solutions or upgrades to our clients.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you have :

Technical Qualification

• 3-5 years of experience in design and deployment for major solutions in a cloud environment.
• Strong background knowledge in cloud or on-premises networking fundamentals
• 3-5 years in providing support to Windows environment including but not limited to OS Patching, application updates and SSL certificate renewals.
• 3-5 years in providing support to Linux systems not limited to security and kernel patching
• 3-5 years of experience with windows active directory and its constructs
• Ability to execute and complete tasks with minimum supervision
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills

AWS Skills

• Proven work experience for the following AWS services
• Storage
• Route 53
• Security Groups and NACLs
• Transit Gateways
• Lambda
• Load balancers
• AWS Certified, Networking Certificate, or equivalent knowledge is required

We are looking for someone who :

• Is an expert on cloud platforms and has working experience on AWS.
• Has automated the buildout of Cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
• Can drive technical innovation and efficiency in infrastructure operations via automation and orchestration.
• Has collaboration experience with infrastructure teams to facilitate the build-out of public cloud-based solutions.
• Reviewed and implemented cloud-based security requirements as code or policy.
• Documented infrastructure builds and created system support run books.
• Enforced standardization of environment configuration and prevented configuration drifts.
• Has programming skills to facilitate automation of infrastructure builds.
• Has advanced knowledge of provisioning resources in the cloud with a focus on automation leveraging enterprise tools (AWS Cloud Formation and Terraform).
• Leverage scripting to build required automation and tools
• Experience with Evaluating, Designing, Developing and Building PoC and Architect Infrastructure solutions
• Deep understanding of networking technologies and troubleshooting
• Backup cloud and on-premise resources, including in a hybrid environment
• Leverage resource tagging to allocate costs and optimize resource planning

Good to have knowledge of following technologies :

• CyberArk
• Commvault
• SolarWinds
• MS SQL

Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients, bilingualism in French and English is required for this position.
