About The Opportunity

Working as an integral part of the Ayás Mén̓men Child and Family Services Department, reporting directly to the Food Program Team Leader, This position major role is supporting the operations of our food pantry on a casual / on-call basis as needed.

The primary responsibilities will include assisting the Food Pantry team with various tasks, such as greeting clients, unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, and creating food packages for clients.

This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional, adaptable communication style with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is an asset.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy boxes and supplies as needed.
  • Experience in cleaning and maintaining equipment, Working with your hands. Working outdoors (occasionally)
  • Hgh level of emotional intelligence, patience and integrity.
  • Maintains composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with clients in a compassionate and respectful manner.
  • Resourceful and organized with excellent time management abilities.
  • Acts ethically and with the highest degree of confidentiality.
  • Able to deliver information with tact and diplomacy.

Salary : $ 46,813 - $ 51,380 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits program
