Raise is hiring a Microsoft Systems Administrato r for Our Client, a partnership of 12 municipalities - one Electoral Area and one treaty First Nation.
That collaboratively plans for and delivers regional-scale services with its core services being drinking water, wastewater treatment and solid waste management.

Description
The Microsoft Systems Administrator in this role will work with the I.T. team to Plan and implement the migration of the current internal Microsoft Certificate Authority to the latest version, implement Microsoft Teams and channels for the corporation, help the team plan and implement an Azure Landing zone, including IAC (Infrastructure as Code) and complete the migration of on premise Exchange 2019 mailboxes to Exchange Online.
This assignment will start Dec 5th. This work will be performed virtually or on premise.
Accountabilities
The Sr. Microsoft Systems Administrator will work in collaboration with our internal infrastructure Team and will focus on : Plan and implement the migration from Windows Server 2012 certificate authority to Windows Server 2022.
Document the new CA environment.Plan and implement an Azure Landing zone for the corporation including IAC.Document the new Azure environment.
Migrate Exchange 2019 mailboxes to Exchange Online.Plan, implement and support MS Teams and channels for the corporation.
Document the Teams and channels environment.
Required
- 5 years’ exchange admin experience.
- 3 years’ experience with exchange migration to Online.
- Good understanding of cloud design considerations for data storage and processing.
- 5 years’ experience implementing Teams.
- 2 years’ experience with Windows Certificate Authority.
- 3 years’ experience implementing Azure Landing Zones.
- Experience with Outlook, OWA, Active Directory, DNS, PowerShell.
- Ability to prepare technical design and write technical specifications.
- In addition, this position requires the ability to :
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal contacts.
- Provide advice and assistance on matters related to the work.
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Perform assigned duties with minimal supervision, although direction will be given.
- Maintain confidentiality.
