We are seeking a Tool & Material Customer Service - Retail Associate to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.

Responsibilities :

• Welcome and identify customer needs
• Explain products and services to customers
• Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
• Enter and process customer orders
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints
• MUST be a self-starter with a positive attitude and a strong desire to serve customers in a cheerful and helpful manner.
• Strong ability to communicate product knowledge and determine customers' needs by asking questions and finding solutions to their problems.
• Working safely while providing superior customer service this includes greeting customers, providing information, completing sales and arranging deliveries.
• Responding to customer inquiries and helping customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise along with responding to requests for assistance throughout the store.
• Comfortable lifting 50lbs and can use a Ladder to retrieve products on shelves
• Stocking products, creating displays and learning about new products and attending all training.
• Build professional relationships with customers including promoting and recommending products.
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to read, write, and do simple mathematics.
• Comfortable making outbound calls
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Responsible for and not limited to the following : preparing quotes, doing material takeoffs, ordering, stocking materials, and shipping and receiving
• Handling telephone inquiries-making follow-up calls- merchandising.
• Assembling products and displays-help out in shop and yard when backlogs occur-and any other tasks management requires.
• Excellent phone manner with a professional personable attitude.
• Drywall industry would be a definite asset

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
