Industrial Electrician - Permanent

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Electrician to join our team. This is a PERMANENT position with our client, a food manufacturer in Toronto, ON.

The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high-speed PLC & VFD controlled processes and packaging equipment.

You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment within our facility.

Job Description

• Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of High-Speed PLC & VFD Controlled Processes and Packaging Equipment.
• Use and maintenance of Programmable Logic Controllers, instrumentation, and PC to observe and repair machine function.
• Maintenance of electrical Plant Utilities such as lighting and emergency lighting / generators.
• Calibration of Process Control Instruments and Controllers.
• Assist in project work, equipment modifications, and new installations as required.
• Participate in relevant training as required.
• Assist new EETs in the process of familiarization of job duties, safety, and equipment operation.

Must haves

• 4+ years as a licensed electrician
• Valid 309A or 442A license - 309A must have industrial experience
• PLC troubleshooting experience
