Corporate Accounts Representative (Waste Services)

Job Purpose :

Reporting to the Manager, Equipment, the Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing Maintenance Operations and equipment on all projects ensuring the equipment is maintained to the highest standards.

Job Purpose

The Corporate Accounts Representative is responsible for identifying opportunities, providing customers with world-class service, and managing the sales process by working closely within the division’s regional teams.

The individual will be responsible for influencing and achieving the sales plan, and growing SECURE’s customer base for waste containment, and waste projects including Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to :

  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships, respond to customer inquiries and concerns as they arise.
  • Identify new prospective customers and develop service and pricing strategies to win the business.
  • Identify growth opportunities and measure KPI’s corresponding with top customers, utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) System throughout sales cycle.
  • Act as liaison between sales and operations, identify integrated sales opportunities and ensuring the appropriate divisional representatives are pursuing accordingly.
  • Assist with the development of proposals, negotiating and executing customer MSAs, and customer maintenance in relation to invoicing.
  • Provide weekly reporting in sales meetings.
  • Undertake market analysis for existing service lines.
  • Be an ambassador for SECURE at industry events and functions.
  • Build and maintain a strong presence within appropriate industry networks.
  • Participate in divisional sales strategy planning sessions.
  • Frequent travel within Western Canada required.
  • Occasionally required to be available outside of standard working hours.

Qualifications / Competencies

The individual in this role will have :

  • 3+ years of energy services sales and marketing experience.
  • A passion for helping customers and delivering an excellent customer experience.
  • Above average selling, communication, and customer relation skills.
  • Exceptional grammar and writing skills.
  • Strong proposal writing and presentation skills are required.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to meet timelines, and attention to detail.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Some level of post-secondary education completed.

The following are considered assets in this role :

  • Sales experience and established industry contacts within oil & gas operations, production, environmental, and supply chain management would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of waste handling and disposal regulations would be an asset.
  • Experience in an entrepreneurial or growth-oriented organization would be an asset.
  • Degree or Diploma in Environmental or Business Field an asset.
