As Manager Data, Portfolio Monitoring and Implementation, your role is to improve the quality and availability of data, support partners in their needs for data and reports, develop dynamic portfolio monitoring and contribute to pricing implementations to achieve the commercial lines sector goals for profitable growth and to support its members and clients.
Your talent development and results-oriented skills enable you to effectively manage people and performance, along with ensuring partner and customer satisfaction.
You also contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and to the development of the team to meet the sector's growing needs in analytics.
More specifically, you will be required to :
Oversee the development, implementation, and follow-up of an action plan for the team in line with Desjardins Group's strategic orientations.
Apply management and communication practices encouraging change management, skills development, engagement, talent retention and diversity, consistent with the organization's values
Work closely with the various commercial line teams and their partners to centralize and meet their data needs
Develop and maintain efficient data management based on best practices in data governance, in collaboration with the Business Intelligence sector, including the implementation of quality controls and documentation, and the creation of business rules and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Collaborate on pricing implementations with the IT teams, particularly through the introduction of rigorous processes and controls as well as tests and documentation
Create, automate, and analyze management and monitoring reports for the Commercial Lines portfolio to support the strategic decisions for profitable growth
Contribute to the data and analytics vision for the commercial lines sector and implement it with key partners
Ensure the efficiency and continuous improvement of processes related to data management and usage.

What you bring to the table
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
A minimum of eight years of relevant experience, including four in a management position
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Experience in data management
For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required
Advanced proficiency in English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English speaking partners, members and / or clients
Available for travel once / twice per year to Quebec or Ontario depending on candidate location
