The Opportunity :
Perform monthly financial reporting and close process activities, including the preparation of routine and non-routine journal entries and adjustments
Prepare and maintain account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts assigned
Develop and implement process improvements, document desktop procedures and processes to achieve efficiencies
Partner with FinOps, Treasury and other cross-functional business partners to manage and improve existing close processes
Perform financial statement analysis and document meaningful explanations for fluctuations to assist management with business decisions
Support external audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility
Assist with accounting projects, including implementation of key finance systems, internal controls, close efficiency, audit readiness, and reporting
Who We Look For :
B.A. or B.S. in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline
3+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year of relevant month-end close experience. Cash management experience is a plus.
CPA certification a strong plus
Understanding of accounting principles and ability to analyze complex accounting processes
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and digest large amounts of data required
Previous experience working in a large ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) environment.
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Team player, work well independently while knowing when to speak up for help
Excellent time and self-management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask
Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
