The Role :
This is an exciting opportunity to have a key role in overseeing the Information Technology (IT) and Security function at one of largest portfolios.
We have an ambitious vision for acquired and organic growth, globally; combined with ever increasing Data Security and Governance, Risk, and Compliance requirements.
Working closely with the Portfolio CFO and the Business Unit leaders, you will have an excellent opportunity to continue to grow and develop an IT strategy, and play an important role as we acquire, strengthen, and grow an expanding Portfolio across the Americas.
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following :
- Overall responsibility for the Portfolio’s IT, Data Security & Risk Management.
- Continue to develop and enhance a Portfolio IT & Data Security strategy that allows the portfolio to scale autonomously while ensuring it complies with corporate standards and governance framework.
- Review the current state of the Portfolio’s IT & Data Security compliance with Governance, Risk Compliance framework, and play an important role in oversight, compliance, control setting, and auditing.
- Create Portfolio IT & Data Security reporting and dashboards that are reviewed with the executive leadership team regularly.
- As part of the Mergers & Acquisitions team, identify and propose solutions to IT and Data Security issues found during due diligence and ensure plans are in place post-close to mitigate risks.
- For all new acquisitions, develop an IT & Data Security integration and compliance checklist, and play an important part of onboarding new acquisitions, including completing the integration of recently acquired businesses.
- Indirect oversight of all divisional IT teams, supporting the IT leaders and addressing issues and projects arising at their level.
- Track and manage the Portfolio’s IT spend, benchmarking, and working to consolidated and reduce operating costs and improve the efficient use of assets across the group.
- Understand IT infrastructure investments and asset acquisition needs and identify areas of optimization, risk mitigation, and cost-efficiency.
- Undertake special projects and analysis as required by Portfolio or Business Unit leadership teams
- Manage the Application Security Product and provide guidance to the Portfolio on the Secure Software Development Process (SSDLC)
- Lead a Portfolio data security committee, managing the security policies along with security awareness program for business
Job Requirements : Experience :
Experience :
- 6+ of IT experience, including deep exposure to networks and systems at an architect level.
- One or more security certifications including CISSP is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA
- Hosting environment (Azure, GCP & AWS) architecture and supplier management experience.
- Proven track record of building strong working relationships with business and IT partners while fostering a cooperative work environment.
- Ability to think critically, solve problems, and make Portfolio level decisions while building trust within the head office IT organization.
- Experience working with Governance, Risk, and Compliance frameworks, including analysis, recommending, implementing, and auditing.
- Strong project management skills coordinating multiple concurrent complex and high priority projects.
- Track record of solving large, complex problems and producing measurable results.
- Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience building and supporting a global IT team.
- Experience with global IT and Data Security standards and requirements preferred.
- Must be willing to travel internationally as required.
