partner staffing onbehalf of our Client we are looking for an experienced Power SystemElectrician (PSE) to manage safety protocols network accessmaintenance and inspections in high voltage settings.

The idealcandidate will have a strong background in overseeing operationswithin substations and other related infrastructure ensuring allwork aligns with safety regulations and qualitybenchmarks.

Thisis a Calgarybased role with no overnight travel. A competitivesalary benefits and a company vehicle are included as part of thepackage.

Requirements

• Collaboratewith various trades and professionals to provide safe access tosubstation and networkinfrastructure.
• Assessand communicate safety risks onsite ensuring all tasks areconducted according to high voltage safetyprotocols.
• Maintainsite security control access and ensure public safety duringoperations including trafficmanagement.

Qualifications :

• AlbertaJourneyperson certification as a Power System Electrician orPowerlineTechnician.
• Atleast 5 years of experience working in substations or undergroundnetwork infrastructure (vaults manholesetc.).
• ValidClass 5 Alberta driver slicense.
• Basicsecurity clearancerequired.
• Strongunderstanding of Alberta Electrical Utility Code and Alberta SafetyLegislation.
• Additionalcertifications in Fall Protection Confined Space Aerial WorkPlatforms and First Aid are anasset.

Additional certifications in FallProtection, Confined Space, Aerial Work Platforms, and First Aidare an asset.
