As VP of Finance, your role will be pivotal in driving financial strategy, optimizing operations, and supporting company growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the retail landscape, a passion for fashion, and a proven track record in financial leadership.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, direct and control the activities of the Finance department and provide active leadership within the department
- Analyze the financial performance of the company and propose solutions to maintain / develop profitability
- Maintain tight control over costs and administrative expenses
- Supervise the development, implementation, and maintenance of budgeting and accounting systems, as well as the development of management reports
- Structure management operations to optimize the efficiency of accounting processes, produce financial information when required and ensure compliance
- Produce monthly consolidated financial statements and year-end audits
- Consolidate the annual budget and explain variances
- Complete application of taxes, credits, sales taxes and government audits
- Maintain adequate internal controls
- Responsible for system developments and improvements
- Responsible for contractual agreements with external partners
- Manage IT department; maintains ERP on Business Central
- All other financial-related tasks
Requirements
- BAC in finance, CA and CPA
- 8+ years of experience in finance within the fashion industry
- Fluently bilingual
- Excellent business awareness, strategic, and results-oriented
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates autonomy and initiative
- Excellent computer skills
