Securiguard is looking for highly capable security and investigations professionals for our Loss Prevention Team. As a member of our Undercover Retail Crime Team, you will be working in teams of 2-4, patrolling select retail stores.
As part of your role, you will be apprehending shoplifters, following prolific offenders, and gathering related intelligence on current crime activity.
What you would bring :
- Valid BC Security Worker License
- AST (Preferred)
- Previous Security Experience - 1year (Required)
- Loss Prevention Experience- 6 months (Required)
- Must be flexible to work in multiple stores / locations
- Must be able to stand for an 8-hour period
- Ability to complete incident reports on a daily basis
- Must be comfortable apprehending and detaining shoplifters when required
- Ability to handle difficult situations with a calm demeanor
- Excellent judgment and decision-making ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to arrest, recover and conduct mobile and static surveillance of persons, groups, vehicles, and addresses
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team as operational needs dictate
