Position Overview :
The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in manufacturing accounting, cost analysis, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts in compliance with GAAP.
- Conduct cost analysis and variance analysis to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation for audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Monitor inventory management and analyze inventory costs.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designated, or in final stages of completion
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
