About You :

You are a technology and product leader looking to make a real impact while working with great people. Innovation is part of your DNA.

With advanced education to support your work history, you have significant experience leading the commercialization of batteries, storage systems, fuel cells or similar electrochemical systems.

You appreciate the inner workings of a company in the development stage of creating a groundbreaking technology and recognize the steps required to bring a product to market.

Your stakeholder management, people management and leadership skills are finely tuned allowing you to effectively collaborate, add value, and engage with your team.

You are the technical and engineering subject matter expert and active participant at Executive meetings. You are comfortable representing the company to external stakeholders, investors, partners and suppliers.

You thrive in energizing, passionate conversation with highly committed, industry and functional experts and recognize your responsibility to bring value to every conversation.

You have demonstrated experience building and leading high-performance teams, implementing best practices and processes to commercialize complex products / solutions / systems.

About the Role :

• You will become an expert in a unique energy storage solution including all features of the cell’s hardware and software components.
• You will lead the company’s technology roadmap, while leading and being supported by a deeply technical and talented team.

They will look to you as a mentor and guide.

• You will partner with the PMO to deliver on time and on budget programs, with the Chief Commercial Officer to ensure the product meets the market needs and expectations, and with the Chief Operations Officer to design and innovate for manufacturing.
• You will establish and implement a best-in-class R&D and Engineering product design process and lead the IP strategy.

This role demands hands-on involvement with a strategic outlook. The CTO will know what good looks like today and great looks like tomorrow and knows how to get there.
