About the Position :

Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, the Development Manager, IT will work with various

business groups to develop innovative solutions for current and future needs in support of our growing

business. You will oversee the workflow of all ongoing IT projects to ensure solutions are delivered on-

time and within scope.

10+ years’ developing in Microsoft Technologies.

5+ years’ experience overseeing and managing a Development Team.

A post-secondary degree in a related field

Responsibilities

Key Functions and Responsibilities :

Create the DevOps technical strategy with the Chief Technology Officer while advancing the

technical roadmap.

Develop in-house proprietary software systems and solutions in support of multiple business

groups.

Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and facilitate technical

solutioning sessions.

Create development plans and schedules for completion.

Oversee project team’s activities in execution of development plans, testing, quality control, and

implementation

Manage multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneouslyy and manage the

software development lifecycle for several services and applications ensuring that they are built

to be maintainable, scalable and rigorous quality control to ensure a problem free user

experience.

Assist team with coding activities and provide support where needed.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Abilities :

Proven experience in technical project management, with a track record of successfully

delivering projects on time.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage

multiple projects simultaneously.

Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Working knowledge of Azure Devops.

Knowledge developing on Microsoft Azure SQL (writing queries, functions, stored procs).

Knowledge in web frameworks / technologies (AJAX, RESTful services, JSON).

Knowledge of HTML / HTML5 / CSS and responsive web design.

Knowledge of Azure Cloud technologies for Web App, Web APIs.

Other programming languages (JavaScript, jQuery, Razor Pages,).
