Thisposition will play a crucial role in the planning design and ofmunicipal and land development projects throughout Alberta andWestern Canada.
The ideal candidate will have experience in civilengineering within the land development and municipalinfrastructure sector with a strong understanding of local Albertaregulations andstandards.
Requirements
KeyResponsibilities :
Leadand oversee the design and development of municipal projectsincluding subdivisions and privatesites.
Prepareand review engineering designs drawings specifications and projectproposals for civil infrastructure components such as roadsstormwater management water distribution and wastewatersystems.
Experiencein stormwater design and hydraulicmodeling.
Conductsite assessments feasibility studies and risk analyses to ensurethe viability of proposeddevelopments.
Manageproject timelines budgets and client expectations ensuring alldeliverables are completed onschedule.
Coordinatewith government agencies contractors developers and otherstakeholders to ensure project approval and regulatorycompliance.
Performconstruction inspections site visits and quality control reviewsduring the construction phase ofprojects.
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a relatedfield.
Registeredas a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta or eligible forregistration with APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers andGeoscientists ofAlberta).
5years of experience in land development municipal infrastructureand civildesign.
Proficientin industrystandard software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D EPANET andStormCAD.
Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaboratewith team members clients andstakeholders.
Provenability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work withintightdeadlines.
