Job Description
The Senior Manager, Service Delivery and Architecture you will build, lead, and inspire a cross-functional team to deliver product features and services while developing a team culture of ownership that reinforces the core values of RBC.
You will be the responsible for digitization of key data governance processes and maintenance of the existing applications and infrastructure.
You will help prioritize work for your team, making difficult tradeoffs on design based on business constraints, while ensuring on-time deliverables and high-quality software.
You will provide technical guidance and mentor developers to help them reach their potential and ship a world-class product.

What you need?
Must Have
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Software Development and Architecture
- 3+ years of people management experience
- University degree in Computer Science or related field
- Senior-level experience designing, developing, and delivering complex technical software solutions (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience leading systems design of service-based architectures and microservices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills allow you to influence the organization effectively.
- Strong understanding of strategic and business planning processes
Nice to Have
- Experience with any Data Governance Tool like Collibra
- Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Lineage and Data Management
- Experience with metamodel design
- Experience in building end-to-end data pipelines
- Proven hands-on experience in containerization - Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift etc.
