Your Opportunity
Our Markham & Oakville offices are looking for Co-op or Intern Students to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team for September 2024 to April 2025 (8-month term) .
This role will offer experience with reviews, compilations, and corporate tax (not auditing).
The successful candidate will own the following responsibilities :
- Efficiently prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagement
- Prepare working files for income tax and information returns for a variety of client sizes
- Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to request and suggestions
- Completion of ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following established procedures
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis

Your experience and education
- You are currently working towards a degree / diploma, focused in accounting
- You are interested in long term growth within the Financial Reporting & Insights team
- You may have experience or certifications with Quickbooks, Xero and / or Sage
- You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
- You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
