I'm looking for a Senior Systems Administrator for one of our customers, located in Montreal-West. This is a permanent position, in hybrid mode.
Salary varies according to experience ($90000 to $100000) - on a 40-hour week basis.Your duties will include : * Administer and maintain Windows servers (Windows Server 2012 / 2016 / 2019) and VMware infrastructure (vSphere, ESXi)* Supervise and ensure continuity of infrastructure services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, etc.
Manage and optimize virtualized environments (VM creation, configuration, migration)* Manage backups and disaster recovery plans to ensure service continuity* Diagnose and resolve complex incidents related to Windows and VMware systems* Perform preventive maintenance on systems to avoid service interruptions* Participate in the design and implementation of infrastructure projects (deployment of new services, migrations, etc.
Keep abreast of developments in Windows and VMware technologies* Degree in computer science, networking or equivalent* At least 5 to 7 years' experience in systems administration, including at least 3 years as a senior network administrator* Expertise in Windows Server administration (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, etc.
Proficiency in VMware virtualization technologies (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi)* Solid knowledge of PowerShell for task automation* Experience with backup and restore solutions (Veeam, etc.
Microsoft (MCSA, MCSE) and / or VMware (VCP) certification an asset* Fluency in French and English
