Seeking a fulltime experienced Receptionist for a potentially temporary position for an insurance company.

Responsibilities :

  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls in a professional manner and provide customer support.
  • Provide excellent customer service at our front desk to customers, clients and visitors.
  • Liaise with multiple departments as required.
  • Assist with data entry.
  • Performs general office tasks such as filing, data entry and document management.
  • Assist other departments
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to efficiently prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining precision and follow through.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Must have a valid drivers’ license and own transportation as worker may need to go to Welland
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Shifts : Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm

Wage : $19 to $20 / hr

Contract length : at least one month covering a leave but could potentially be longer
